oh hey.

Yesterday I made a post about how I feel work controls my life and I wanted to change that and focus on seeking Jesus. Well today, for some reason, I got a call from work saying I didn’t need to come in. So I was like SWEET! Then I spent the first half of it reading Pride and Prejudice and watching Burn Notice. But when I was in the middle of an episode, I started thinking about how it was awesome I didn’t have to work and then I remembered my post from yesterday about how I was gonna spend time with Jesus more and not focus on unimportant things. And it hit me that this was a God thing. He gave me this time to see if I was gonna stay true to my word. So I immediately turned off the TV and started where I left off in my Bible. Ecclesiastes 5. The first part is about keeping vows to God and how it’s better not to make a vow to Him if you’re not going to keep it. Hahahahaha, God’s funny. I love Him. I was trying to think of more ways I could seek Jesus other than just reading the Bible so I asked my brother if he wanted anything to eat cause I was making a sandwich. He wanted a sandwich, so I gave him mine. It felt awesome. I also make a list of random acts of kindness I can do and painted little cards with inspirational things on them.
