Same way with God. He wants to see who truly loves Him for who He is, not just for what He can do for them. So don’t be surprised if your life takes a left turn or if you’ve lost a few things. He’s testing and purifying your heart. And after enduring your loss and afflictions without cursing God, He will give you TWICE as much as you had before, as He did with Job.
